Bret’s towing in Sheboygan, a division of All City Towing, is looking for an experience tow truck operator to join their team.
Duties:
- Safely operate company tow trucks without causing damage to vehicles in tow.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehicles are not damaged.
- Complete shift inspections ensure tow trucks are in good working order and comply with all safety requirements.
- Collaborate with Dispatch Team and Supervisor.
- Record all pickup and delivery events, and capture all necessary information, including images.
- Maintain towing equipment and accessories, perform daily inventory.
- Fuel trucks daily at the end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned per business needs.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL strongly desired.
- Tow truck experience is required.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of tow trucks.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles onto the tow truck or flatbed safely.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Be able to pass a drug test.
